This face cream recipe is a rich source of anti-aging properties because of its Irish moss, frankincense oil, and aloe vera gel content.

Things You’ll Need

  • A Tablespoon of Irish moss
  • 1.5 Cups of Purified Water
  • 1/4th Cup of Aloe Vera Gel
  • 1-2 Tablespoons of Hazelnut Oil
  • 4-5 Drops of Frankincense Oil
  • A Pot
  • Whisk
  • Muslin Cloth

Instructions

  1. Begin this recipe by putting dried Irish moss in a pot of water for about 30-45 minutes.
  2. After that, simmer the same over medium heat for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Once the time is up, remove the pot from heat and let it cool. The seaweed will now look like a thick jelly. It might stink a bit, but the end product will not have any odor.
  4. Strain the jelly in a bowl using a muslin cloth and throw the leftover water.
  5. Next, add the aloe vera gel to the strained jelly and whisk vigorously until the mix turns into a lighter, fluffier paste.
  6. After getting the desired consistency, combine hazelnut oil and frankincense oil in the mix.
  7. Now, your face cream is ready to store in a clean jar.
  8. Make sure to apply this non-greasy cream on your face 15 minutes before stepping out.
