Splendid All Natural Room Sprays DIY Which Will Leave You Amazed

Gone are the days when you had to depend on commercial room fresheners to make your room smell fresh and clean. These DIY natural home deodorizers and air fresheners provide you a non-toxic and natural way to keep your room fresh all the day. It’s easy to make your homemade air fresheners with some basic and easily available supplies.

1. Creamsicle

Creamsicle room spray smells fruity and creamy. You should try this recipe if you love to have some energy boost around you the whole day. To make your orange creamsicle room spray you’ll need:

  1. 20 drops of citrus fresh essential oil
  2. 6 drops of stress away essential oil
  3. 2 ounces vodka
  4. 1 cup distilled water
  5. Spray bottle
  6. Measuring cup

Procedure:

Mix 2 ounces vodka and 20 drops of citrus fresh and 6 drops of stress away essential oils in a measuring cup. Mix them well and further add 1 cup distilled water and stir well. Add the scent in the spray bottle and your spray is ready to use. Shake well before use.

2. Lavender

  1. 1-ounce vodka
  2. 10 drops lavender oil
  3. 6 tablespoons water
  4. Spray bottle

Fill in your spray bottle with vodka, water, and 10 drops essential oil. Shake the mixture very well for about 20-25 seconds because essential oil takes time to dilute into water. Now fill your spray bottle with the mixture and your scent is ready to use.

3. Lilac

  1. Lilac essential oil
  2. Water
  3. Vodka
  4. Spray bottle

Procedure:

Fill in your spray bottle with half water and half vodka. Add 12 drops lilac essential oil, now spray the solution wherever needed. In case the scent is not strong enough, add few more drops of lilac essential oil.

4. Citrus

  1. Lemons
  2. Limes
  3. Oranges (optional)
  4. Vodka
  5. Water
  6. Spray Bottle

Procedure:

Take out the tough outer skin of the lime fruit, now pour enough vodka in a jar and combine all the ingredient and the outer skin. Let the mixture sit for at least 24 hours. Now slice the rinds into thin pieces and add it in a spray bottle filled with half water and half vodka.

5. Lemon, Rosemary, and Vanilla

Rosemary oil is widely known for its health benefits. The combination of lemon, rosemary, and vanilla gives you a scent that you’ll definitely love. You’ll need:

  1. Water
  2. A Lemon
  3. Few sprigs of rosemary
  4. 1-2 tbsp vanilla

Procedure:

Combine 2/3 cup water, 1 sliced lemon, and a few sprigs of rosemary in a small pot on the stove top, then add 1-2 tbsp vanilla extract. Let it simmer for a while adding water as needed so that the pot doesn’t dry up, you can use the same mix for about a day or unless it starts to give a unpleasant smell.

6. Lime, Thyme, Mint, and Vanilla

  1. 3 Limes
  2. 3-4 Sprigs fresh thyme
  3. 1/2 tbsp mint extract
  4. 1 tbsp vanilla

Combine the ingredient in a pan on the stove top, cover them with water and heat. Keep a close eye on the water level, don’t let the pan dry out. Gradually your rooms will be filled with the fresh smell of lime, thyme, mint, and vanilla.

7. Peppermint and Rosemary

  1. 10 drops peppermint essential oil
  2. 8 drops rosemary essential oil
  3. 3/4  cup water
  4. 2 tbsp rubbing alcohol

Procedure:

Combine all the ingredients in an 8 ounces spray bottle, then shake it well and spray whenever needed.

8. Tea tree, Lemon, and Eucalyptus

Tea tree and eucalyptus are known for their health benefits and their re-energizing smell. Lemon benefits high blood pressure and also benefits your skin and hair. To make you lemon, tea tree, and Eucalyptus room spray, you’ll need:

  1. 2/3 cup water
  2. Vodka
  3. 4 drops tea tree oil
  4. 6 drops lemon oil
  5. 6 drops eucalyptus oil

Procedure:

Combine all the ingredients in a spray bottle and shake well until the essential oils get diluted in water. Before using the scent, shake well.
