DIY Cucumber Hydrosol Recipe

What You Need

  1. 2 Ceramic Bowls
  2. A Large Pan
  3. Water
  4. Fresh Organic Cucumbers

What To Do

Step 1: Take about 2-3 cucumbers to make a small bottle of cucumber hydrosol and cut the cucumbers in small pieces.

Step 2: Take a deep pot and place a small ceramic bowl upside down in the center. You can also use a brick instead.

Step 3: Place a heat-resistant pot over the bowl. You can use a ceramic bowl for this purpose. The water will get collected in this bowl.

Step 4: Add the cut cucumbers to the pan around the set up.

Step 5: Pour a little water to cover about 1/4th of cucumbers. This will prevent the pan from burning.

Step 6: Cover the pan with a lid, make sure there is no escape for the steam.

Step 7: Start heating on low flame. Once vapors start to arise, place a few ice packs on the lid.

Step 8: Keep it going until the bowl is filled. Make sure the water in the pan does not run out.

Step 9: Pour the collected water in a spray bottle. The cucumber hydrosol is ready for use.
